A couple things I forgot to mention in my last post…

1. I had to go through a metal detector on my way into the Newseum.  I had totally forgotten about the knife I was carrying.  Fortunately they still let me in, but it’s the first time I’ve ever had to check a weapon at the door of a museum, hahaha…
2. In the pop culture section of the Smithsonian Museum of American History was a little display stand containing portable music players from the last few decades.  High five if you recognize the example of a cassette they included (without enlarging the image):
